About

Rodney Stringfellow is an educator and screenwriter who has written on children’s series for Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Disney Channel, PBS Kids and Sesame Workshop. Rodney was head writer on the Singapore-based series, “Olive and The Rhyme Rescue Crew” and Director of Development for Dorado Entertainment, a NYC-based television production company.

In addition to his ongoing writing work, Rodney currently teaches screenwriting at University of North Carolina, Charlotte and at The Light Factory: the Contemporary Museum of Photography and Film in Charlotte, NC. Previously Rodney taught screenwriting at Sarah Lawrence College, Bronxville, New York.

He holds a BA in Visual Communications Design from Purdue University and a MS in Communications Design from Pratt Institute.

Rodney lives in North Carolina with his wife, Jennifer, his son, Jonathan and a wild turkey they named Milo.

    Rodney, I don’t know what took me so long to get out here and start reading (except we know I procrastinate), but this is great stuff…as someone else said, “I like what you are doing here.” I’ve sent the link to my son who is trying his hand at screenwriting. I think he will become addicted to the site.. I miss you friend…glad to hear you are doing great hings ( nothing greater than teaching our future) …glad you took ” the challenge” ! Charlene
